Cards, voting, & Kickball

I just got back from playing cards with a fun group of girls!!!!! It is so important to go out with people..Get away from the hum-drum life and play! We played a game called "Pooh Head" which is really an awesome game....I use to have a roommate from Australia and she had a cousin, Tanya, and a friend of her's Mike from England come and stayed with us for 2 weeks last March....We had SUCH a great time and they taught us that game! Very FUN!!!! We can learn so much from other people if we are OPEN to it!!!!!! Just one small example of how important it is to never ever stop learning! They say that an idle mind is the Devil's Playground! Did everyone Vote? I went and voted today...So many people do not have the priviledge of voting....Jody inspired me to vote today and I'm GLAD I did...Soo many people complain about our leaders, but given the opportunity...They don't vote! Has anyone from SC been to a DMV lately? Well, I lost my license and had to go and get a new one....I was in and out in 10 minutes....THAT'S a record...I use to wait HOURS...Who can I thank for this? Our Governor..Mark Sanford! This has been a quiet week for me....Last week was NOT! I babysat, am helping to plan one of My best friend's weddings, and I am the Social Chair for the World Adult Kickball league in Charleston, and we had our end-of-the-season party........It was a Luau..The turnout was a little disappointing, BUT you can't always raise $1600 every time you have a function for Charity..That's right at our 80's "Prom Themed" party, we raised $1600 for "Unified Sports" A Charity that helps Children with disabilities play sports!
My kickball team is #2 in a division of 12....SOOOO Thursday should prove to be QUITE interesting.........THIS is the email that I sent them.....

Well.....
What a season!!!!! A Lot has happened in the past 8 weeks....BUT, in my opinion what has happened that is the most incredible.........We have come together to make an UNBELIEVABLE TEAM!!!!! No matter what happens this Thursday at 7:00.......WE DID IT!!!! WE BECAME A TEAM!!!! That's right "Good Timers" We Play THIS Thursday at 7:00 SHARP!!! As the number 2 team...We play the second game on Thursday.....PLEASE email ASAP and let me know%2
